Magic Valley Reads!

The Twin Falls Public Library is proud to announce a new event

MAGIC VALLEY READS!

a reading and discussion series that focuses on local and regional topics, including Idaho authors, culture, and history.

We'll kick off this new series on February 18 at 6:30 PM with a program featuring Dr. Jim Gentry and his recently-published history of CSI: Meeting Needs and Developing Opportunities.

Two following discussions will focus on Carol Ryrie Brink's classic, Buffalo Coat, on March 3 and Gifts of Heritage, a compilation of community memories edited by Donna Scott and ZoeAnn Shaub on March 17.

Pick up a set of the three books, and get more information, from the Reference Desk (or call 733-2964 ect 200).

Blind Date Books

In a reading rut? Spice up your reading life with a Blind Date Book!

FEBRUARY 8 - MARCH 1

Our Librarians are ready to fix you up - we've selected a number of books, wrapped them up in secretive paper (since you shouldn't judge a book by its cover), and written a short description to entice you.

All you have to do is take your Date home - between Feb 8 and Mar 1 - and give it a real chance. Fill out the included Rate-Your-Date slip, and return it to us by March 1 to enter a drawing for a box of chocolates just for trying to find your true (book) love!
