Our Heroes’ Tree
Honoring the legacies of American servicemembers

Throughout November, the Twin Falls Public Library will honor veterans with the Our Heroes’ Tree program. During the program, the library welcomes community members to decorate a remembrance ornament for the Our Heroes’ Tree to honor the legacies of American servicemembers in our community.

A nationwide initiative, the Our Heroes’ Tree program was created by Stephanie Pickup and Marlene Lee in 2005 as a way for communities to honor veterans and share stories of military service from family members, friends, and neighbors. Ornaments made for the Our Heroes’ Tree program are inclusive of all branches of service in the United States military, active duty, Guard and Reserve, and all generations. This year, the library has expanded the program to include a month of programming honoring veterans and their service.
