As the United States approaches the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, join CSI political science professor Perri Gardner for our first of a series of six civics presentations. This month, join us for an examination of a lesser-considered but essential part of the document: the list of 27 grievances. Let’s explore what these revolutionary complaints reveal about liberty, power, and political legitimacy—and why 1776 still matters in an era of democratic strain and political polarization. By placing the grievances in historical and contemporary context, we’ll consider what the Declaration asks of us today and what it means to be a people still striving for freedom and liberty. Baby Lapsit is designed for babies from birth through 18 months. This short storytime lasts 15 minutes. Your baby will be on your lap throughout, and you will sing, move, and read with your baby!

Into To Technology: Photo Editing - Every month, join us at the library to learn a new piece of software or tech tool! This month, we’ll talk about how to edit images in free, powerful tools like Gimp & Inkscape. Feb. 11th @ 4:30 PM

Ready, Set Kindergarten! is a program for kids who are entering kindergarten in Fall 2026.  Each week, kids will earn a new letter, a kindergarten readiness concept, work on numbers, participate in hands-on activities, and parents will receive a worksheet to take home with suggestions of activities to do with their children.

Teens in 6th – 12th grade, join us for a craft!  This month we are making shrinky dink keychains.
