The Twin Falls Public Library brings the Library to you via our Bookmobile service. The Bookmobile serves patrons within the Twin Falls City limits.
The Bookmobile provides access to materials such as early literacy and early reader materials, teen/tween materials, adult fiction and non-fiction titles, audio books, and DVDs.
When placing holds on materials you may select the Bookmobile as a pickup location if desired. Please refer to our Bookmobile weekly schedule for details on where you may pickup or drop off your library items.
The Library provides 42 computers for public use, for both adults and children. All these computers have access to the Internet. Patrons with a Library card can use a computer for one and a half hours per day. Patrons without a Library card can purchase a half-hour pass for a dollar. There is also a free "computer use only" card, which can be used to access a computer for one and a half hours. Printing costs per page are $0.15 for black and white and $0.25 for color.
The Library also provides a wireless network for mobile devices. The public wireless network is not attached to any printers.
Photocopiers are avaliable both in the Adult and Youth service departments.
If you want an item that is not owned by the Library, then it might be possible to borrow it from a different library. To do this, please give the Reference Desk a call at (208) 733-2964 ext 109, and we will be more than willing to help you out. Only THREE requests can be in process at a time (i.e., you have one checked out and another one requested, you may only request one more). Items may be renewed, but you must let us know THREE DAYS before the item is due.
The service is free, but a $5 fee is charged for items that are ordered but not picked up. Overdue fines are $1 per item, per day.
The Twin Falls Public Library owns the physical microfilm of the local Twin Falls newspapers dating back to 1904. We also have the microfilm for early newspapers of several local towns. The Library owns three microfilm readers, and we invite you to stop at the Reference Desk to learn how to search the microfilm.
Additionally, all of the Twin Falls newspapers are available in digital format online. Search for articles or obituaries at http://newspaper.twinfallspubliclibrary.org. There is NO CHARGE for you to use our online newspaper database.
If you prefer, you may request that we find copies of obituaries or newspaper articles for you. Fees are $5.00 for the first page of each search and $0.25 for every page thereafter; you will be billed after we have found the item. We ask that you send us a WRITTEN request, including all possible information about the item you are looking for (names and/or dates) and your email or mailing address. Please allow 7-10 days for our volunteer to locate the item. You may submit your request by:
