Twin Falls Residents

If you own property within Twin Falls City limits or own and pay Twin Falls City property taxes.

  • Cost: $0 (covered by your city property taxes)
  • All immediate family members may sign up for a card. All family members must reside at the same physical address.

Non-Resident Card

If you live outside of the Twin Falls City limits or do not pay city taxes you have access to all of the Libraries materials and services if you purchase a non-resident Library card.

  • Cost: $40 per year
  • Includes immediate family members: Spouse and/or children

Item Limits - 50 items which could include:

  • 20 Magazines
  • 20 DVDs
  • 20 CDs
  • Up to 50 books

Checkout Times

  • 21 days for books, CD's, and audio books
  • 7 days for movies and magazines
  • Most library materials may be renewed up to three times. Movies and new items may only be renewed once.

Fines:

  • Overdue fines:
    • $0.20 per item, per day
    • Interlibrary Loans: $1.00 per item, per day
  • Lost & Damaged items
    • Cost of item plus a processing free

Please note: Fines $5.00 and over will limit Library services. Fines of $10.00 and over will stop all Library Services. Fines of $50.00 and over may be sent to a Library Materials Recovery Service with an added fee.

When you receive your Library card, you will receive courtesy notices of your available holds via email or mail. The courtesy notices will also be sent for overdue items or excessive fines.

Your library card is for your use only. If you lose your library card, please notify the library as soon as possible. Unless you report your card as lost or stolen, you would still be responsible for items checked out on your card. Please bring your valid picture ID to receive a replacement card.
