Toddler Time is designed for children in the 18mo to 3yo age group. We know that this age group gets the wiggles, so there are lots of opportunities for movement and books that are appropriate for their attention span followed by playtime!

Baby Lapsit is designed for babies from birth through 18 months. This short storytime lasts 15 minutes. Your baby will be on your lap throughout, and you will sing, move, and read with your baby!

Teens in 6th – 12th grade, join us for a cooking class!  This month Siew Guan Lee from the University of Idaho Extension office will be teaching us how to make brownies and decorate them to look like reindeer.

Join us for our annual celebration of early literacy! We'll have a storytime, lots of fun literacy games and activities, and we'll be giving out great books and other materials. We even have special guests coming- members of our city council and our local state legislators! All pre-elementary kids are invited to this special celebration.

Elementary-age kids, join us for a fun STEM program with guest presenter Brady from Idaho Public Television/PBS Kids! We will watch an episode of one of your favorite PBS shows, then do an activity related to the show.

Preschool storytime is designed for kids who are 4 – 5 years old! This storytime uses the five early literacy practices- sing, talk, read, write, and play. Each storytime features a letter, books that are a little longer and a little more complex to get us ready to sit in a classroom, and lots of fun rhymes and songs. After storytime, we play!

Kids in kindergarten – 3rd grade can join us on December 12 at 4pm for Early Elementary Book Club! This month, we're reading  Cornbread and Poppy by Matthew Cordell.  We’ll talk about the book, have snacks, do some activities, and have so much fun!

Kids, come read to a therapy dog from the Pets Helping People Therapy Team!  Sign up for a 10-minute slot when you arrive, and spots are first come, first served.

Kids of all ages can come to the library anytime between December 20th and December 27th for a wintery obstacle course fit for a yeti!

Instead of storytime during the week of Christmas, we will have play dates! We'll bring out extra toys and have play areas set up all over the children's department so that kids and caregivers can play and connect.
