Baby Lapsit is designed for babies from birth through 18 months. This short storytime lasts 15 minutes. Your baby will be on your lap throughout, and you will sing, move, and read with your baby!

Sept 3rd through Nov 5th the Tween STEM Club will be learning the basics of Stop Motion Animation using clay, Legos, and paper.  This program is for kids in 4th-6th grade.  Space is limited to 12 participants. NOTE: Registration is required for this program, and it is currently full. Contact the Youth Services Department to find out how to add your name to the waitlist!

Join our three-part discussion series featuring tales of secret agents and espionage both real and fictional. On Oct. 23rd at 6:30 PM, come discuss “A Woman of No Importance” by Sonia Purnell.

Teens in 6th – 12th g grade, come show off your best Halloween or cosplay costume at our costume contest!  There will be prizes in 3 categories: Most Creative; Best Book-related; and Best Overall Costume. 

Toddler Time is designed for children in the 18mo to 3yo age group. We know that this age group gets the wiggles, so there are lots of opportunities for movement and books that are appropriate for their attention span followed by playtime!

Visit us on October 24th at 6:30 PM for a night of short stories & poetry. Come and share your own writings or your favorite pieces by other authors, or just come to listen! Sign-up is first come, first to read. 5 minute time limit per reading (multiple readings are allowed, depending on time). Check with a librarian for more information.
