Forktales at the Twin Falls Public Library

We’re excited for the return of Forktales at the Twin Falls Public Library! Join us every Wednesday at 12 PM for a short story on the Library Lawn during your lunch break starting May 20th - August 12th (except July 1st).

Bring your lunch, relax, and enjoy a captivating short story read aloud. Whether you're here with friends, family, or coworkers, this is the perfect chance to get outside, soak up some fresh air, and take a break with a great story.

Don’t feel like packing lunch? No worries! Every week, local food trucks will be on-site, offering a variety of delicious options for purchase.

Forktales is all about bringing our community together to enjoy good stories, good food, and great company. Whether you’re a regular or new to town, we invite everyone to come and make this lunchtime event part of your week!

This year, we're so excited to have our Summer Reading Finale Celebration at the Orton Botanical Garden (867 Filer Ave W, Twin Falls, ID 83301).

Join us at the Garden for tours, learn about pollinators, sketch botanicals, enjoy special storytimes, snacks, a scavenger hunt and more! Check out the TFPL Bookmobile and find books, or sign up for a library card if you don't already have one! Plus, we'll be joined by the Reptile Revue from the Herrett Center, and our friends at Ride TFT will provide free rides to the Garden during the event, or you can take a shuttle from the Library! We're excited to see you there.

The Twin Falls Public Library & Magic Valley Arts Council are excited to launch this four-week Collage Class led by local artist Josie Dangerfield! Starting Tuesday, August 4th, join us at 10:30 am in the Library Program Room to build your skills in the art of collage. Classes build on each other, so participants are encouraged to attend each class. Sign-up is required, please call the Reference Desk at 208-733-2964 ext. 2 to secure your spot today!

We’re collecting favorite family recipes from our community and compiling them into a special cookbook. Share a recipe that means something to you, whether it’s a holiday tradition, a weeknight favorite, or the dish everyone always asks you to bring.
