Summer Reading

We're very excited to announce this year's Summer Reading Program! This year, we'll be working with different organizations and groups throughout our community to bring us “All Together Now!” Everyone from infants to adults are welcome and encouraged to participate. Throughout the summer, we'll have a variety of events, activities, reading challenges, and more. Complete the challenges and meet your goals to win prizes!

To kickoff our Summer Reading Program, we're inviting the community to join us in City Park for an afternoon of fun & games! On June 9th, from 2-5 pm, we'll have Giant Monopoly, Giant Jenga, Cornhole, Pickleball, Disc Golf, Bean Bag Toss, Sidewalk Chalk Drawing, Free Treats, and more! We have a whole lot of help for this event! Guests from St. Lukes, Friends of Stricker, Gemstone Climbing, Hardcastle Occupational Therapist, the Children's Museum of Magic Valley, Southern Idaho Chuckers, the Pickleball Association of Twin Falls, and more will all be here helping to run our fun & games. Have fun, get some treats, and let's start this year's Summer Reading "All Together Now."

Starting June 5th, Pre-K & Elementary kids can get their Summer Reading Logs from the Youth Services Desk. If you prefer to track your treading digitally, you can download and use the ReaderZone App! Use code: d4ed7 to get started. Complete your log before the end of the Summer Reading Program to win a free book, a treat from a local business, and other great prizes.
