Ready, Set, Kindergarten
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Youth ProgramReady, Set Kindergarten! is a program for kids who are entering kindergarten in Fall 2024. Each week, kids will earn a new letter, a kindergarten readiness concept, work on numbers, participate in hands-on activities, and parents will receive a worksheet to take home with suggestions of activities to do with their children.
Tech Class: Intro to 3D Printing
4:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Youth ProgramJoin us at 4:30 PM the the first two Wednesdays of each month for tech class! Every month, we'll teach you a new technology skill. In March, learn the basic software, hardware, and skills you'll need to start 3D Printing!
Scenic Rivers of the Owyhee Canyonlands: Presented by the Idaho Conservation League
6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Adult ProgramOver 300 miles of rivers in the Owyhee Canyonlands are protected under the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. Protected river sections include the famous Jarbidge, Bruneau and Owyhee rivers.
The best way to celebrate the Owyhee Canyonlands is to float one of the Wild and Scenic Rivers! The second best way to celebrate is to join us at this upcoming event! Join John Robison, Idaho Conservation League’s Public Lands Director, will provide an overview of the Owyhee Canyonlands, describe the character of different river stretches, and offer logistics advice for planning your own adventures. John will also describe the Owyhee Initiative’s collaborative approach to crafting these protections.
