To search for items and place holds through Vega, use the following steps:
- Click on the "Catalog" button on the front page of the Twin Falls Public Library website.
- On the next page, click on the "My Account" button on the top right of the catalog page.
In the popup, login using your barcode and PIN number.
Note: If you have troubles accessing your account please call the Library at (208) 733-2964 Option 1. - Type your search into the Search Bar - you can search by Author, Title, or Subject.
- Scroll through your search results - note you can refine your search using the options on the left.
- Once you find the item you're looking for, you can see where the item is, and what formats are available for the item.
- To hold an item, select your desired format, then click the "Hold" button.
- Select your desired Pickup Location, then click "Confirm Location."
- You'll receive a confirmation your hold was placed, click "OK" to return to your search results.
- You're hold has been placed!
- REMEMBER: the Twin Falls Public Library is now part of the Lynx Courier service. This means that if you find an item that isn't in Twin Falls, you can still place it on hold through this process - no need for an Interlibrary Loan!
