We're so excited to announce this year's Summer Reading Kickoff Event - Oregon Trail Family Adventure in City Park!
On June 7th, from 5 pm - 7 pm, patrons of all ages can put on their pioneer best and stop by City Park to join our Oregon Trail Family Adventure. Work your way through various games and challenges like the Roping Challenge, Mini "Choose-Your-Own-Adventure" style Scavenger Hunt, Buffalo Chip Toss, Foam Dart Hunting Challenge, Pool-Noodle Horse Race, Pack-Your-Wagon, and more to complete your puzzle! Plus, don’t miss our photo station and be sure to grab a free treat! Costumes are highly encouraged!

In this presentation, experienced Snake River Guide Daniel Gardner will cover safety, gear essentials, and tips for rafting novices and experts alike. Learn how to prepare for your next Adventure on the Snake River!

Naturebrary is a caregiver-and-me program for babies, toddlers, and pre-k kids on Wednesdays from 10am-12pm.  Will be across the street at City Park, and we'll have storywalks, make mud pies, learn about plant life, and much more! Naturebrary is a messy outdoors program so dress accordingly. See you there!

Come to the Twin Falls Public Library for Game Night! You can play any game from our collection, plus we'll have extra games from Black Dragon Games' demo collection! Every month, we'll have a featured game that we'll teach you to play, and have multiple copies ready to play. This month we're featuring "Trekking the World."

This year for Elementary Summer Reading, we're celebrating all of our favorite adventure books. In honor of the many, many adventure books set in libraries, let's play "the floor is lava!" Bring your kids by the library anytime on June 13th to play in our biggest obstacle course ever.

A Dementia Friend learns about dementia and then turns that understanding into action. Dementia Friends USA is a part of a global movement that is changing the way people think act, and talk about dementia. In this session, learn what dementia is, how it affects people, and how you can make a difference for people touched by dementia through interactive activities and information on June 15th at 10:15 am. Stick around for the full session to find out how you can become a Dementia Champion and provide Dementia Friends Information Sessions to the community.

Patrons of all ages are invited to Show & Tell on June 18th at 6:30 PM to share your object, tell us the story behind it, and see and hear what others have to share!

Some of the most adventurous stories can be told with no words at all. Join us anytime from 10am-12pm on June 20th to celebrate the Journey Trilogy by Aaron Becker by creating a huge, wordless story on our sidewalk!

Patrons of all ages, join us for the Adventurous Eaters Club! At this program, you'll have the chance to try novel foods from around the world. On June 25th at 6:30 PM, sample "Chocolate-Chirp" Cookies made with cricket flour, and roasted crickets. Allergen warning: People allergic to shellfish may also be allergic to insects.

Join us on the last the Friday of every month at 4:00 pm for Digital Art Basics! Here, you'll learn about the core skills & tools you need to get started in digital painting, drawing, & photo editing. Use our devices, or bring your own!
