We're so excited to announce this year's Summer Reading Kickoff Event - Oregon Trail Family Adventure in City Park!
On June 7th, from 5 pm - 7 pm, patrons of all ages can put on their pioneer best and stop by City Park to join our Oregon Trail Family Adventure. Work your way through various games and challenges like the Roping Challenge, Mini "Choose-Your-Own-Adventure" style Scavenger Hunt, Buffalo Chip Toss, Foam Dart Hunting Challenge, Pool-Noodle Horse Race, Pack-Your-Wagon, and more to complete your puzzle! Plus, don’t miss our photo station and be sure to grab a free treat! Costumes are highly encouraged!

A Dementia Friend learns about dementia and then turns that understanding into action. Dementia Friends USA is a part of a global movement that is changing the way people think act, and talk about dementia. In this session, learn what dementia is, how it affects people, and how you can make a difference for people touched by dementia through interactive activities and information on June 15th at 10:15 am. Stick around for the full session to find out how you can become a Dementia Champion and provide Dementia Friends Information Sessions to the community.
