Ready, Set, Kindergarten
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Youth ProgramReady, Set Kindergarten! is a program for kids who are entering kindergarten in Fall 2025. Each week, kids will earn a new letter, a kindergarten readiness concept, work on numbers, participate in hands-on activities, and parents will receive a worksheet to take home with suggestions of activities to do with their children.
Intro to Technology: Game Design & Tools
4:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Adult ProgramEvery month, join us to learn a new tech skill or software! On April 9 at 4:30 PM, we’ll learn the basics of game design using tools like Scratch & Godot.
Empowered Caregiver (w/ Alzheimer's Association)
6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Adult ProgramThis free education series from the Alzheimer's Association teaches caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia. Caregivers can attend individual courses to meet their needs, or complete the entire series. Registration is encouraged, but not required. Intro to Alzheimer's & Building Foundations of Caregiving
Explore the role of caregiver and changes they may experience, building a support team, and managing stress.
April 9th:
Supporting Independence
This event focuses on helping the person living with dementia take part in daily activities, providing the right amount of support, and balancing safety and independence while managing expectations.
April 30th:
Communicating Effectively & Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors
Learn how dementia affects communication, and get tips for communicating well with family, friends and health care professionals. You'll learn about common behavior changes and how they are a form of communication, non-medical approaches to behaviors, and recognizing when additional help is needed.
May 7th:
Exploring Care and Support Services
How to best prepare for future care decisions and changes, including respite care, residential care, and end-of-life care.
