Dewey Decimal Scavenger Hunt
10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Youth ProgramKids can stop by the children's department anytime on September 12 to play the Dewey Decimal Scavenger Hunt! You'll get better at finding non-fiction items in the children's department and win a prize while you do it!
Preschool Storytime
10:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Youth ProgramPreschool Storytime is designed for kids who are 4 – 5 years old! This storytime uses the five early literacy practices- sing, talk, read, write, and play. Each storytime features a letter, books that are a little longer and a little more complex to get us ready to sit in a classroom, and lots of fun rhymes and songs. After storytime, we play!
The Empowered Caregiver (with the Alzheimer's Association)
noon - 1:30 p.m.
Adult ProgramThis free education series supports family and friend caregivers of people living with dementia. Learn practical skills for daily care, communication, and planning, plus a special Brain Health session led by Leslee Blanch, University of Idaho Extension educator and Registered/Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist. Attend any session or complete the full series. Each session runs 12:00–1:30 PM.

Early Elementary Book Club: Orris and Timble-The Beginning by Kate DiCamillo

Youth ProgramKids in kindergarten – 3rd grade can join us on September 12th at 4:00pm for Early Elementary Book Club! This month, we're reading Orris and Timble: The Beginning by Kate DiCamillo. We’ll eat snacks, do some activities, and have so much fun!
