STEM Camp: Go, Go, Gadget (Registration required)

Go, Go, Gadget (Grades 4-6)

July 14 and 16, 10:30 AM–12:00 PM

Have you ever thought, “I could make a gadget to fix that!”? This camp is for innovators, problem solvers, and creative thinkers. Students will team up to identify a common everyday problem and use the Engineering Design Process to build a prototype gadget that makes life easier, faster, or just more fun.

Boiling Water Canning w/ University of Idaho Extension

Adult Program

Join Grace Wittman, University of Idaho Extension Educator for our basic boiling water canning class and learn how to safely preserve high-acid foods like fruits, jams, salsas and pickles. Grace has worked for the University of Idaho Extension for 21 years teaching food preservation and food safety practices. Participants will gain confidence in proper preparation, processing times, and food safety techniques while creating their own shelf-stable products. Perfect for beginners or experienced canners wanting to stay current, this class provides practical skills you can use at home right away.
