It's time to Level Up at Your Library! Summer is your chance to try new things, sharpen old skills, and read just for the fun of it. Check out the kickoff, then explore our Summer Reading activities all season long.

ALL-AGES KICKOFF

Friday, June 6 • 5–7 PM – How-To Fair
Hands-on demos throughout the Library and City Park: learn basic origami, wire sculptures, pet care, fire-extinguisher basics, fly-casting, and more.
Pick up more information on Summer Reading while you’re here, and enter a prize drawing!

KIDS SUMMER READING

Preschool & Elementary kids can pick up a reading log from Youth Services, or use the ReaderZone app with code bde38. If you read 32 times by the end of Summer Reading (4 days a week for 8 weeks), you can turn in your reading log by July 25th for a free book, a treat from a great local business, and a state parks pass!

Naturebrary

• Every Wednesday - 10 AM–Noon – Naturebrary in the Park (at City Park)
  Naturebrary is a nature-based program for babies, toddlers, and pre-k kids with their grown-ups. We'll have storywalks, make mud pies, do art projects, learn about plant life and more! 

Elementary Summer Reading:

This year, experts are coming to the library once a week to help us level up a skill! From professional comedians to magicians to reptile specialists and more - you kid won't want to miss out on the chance to level up!

TEEN SUMMER READING (Grades 6 – 12)

Pick up the Teen Reading Log (or use ReaderZone code: e5f15). Complete 8 of 10 activities and turn in the log to earn a free book and entries in the teen prize drawings.

ADULT SUMMER READING & MIXED-AGE EVENTS

Gamify your reading life with our Level Up Summer Reading Program! Grab a form from the library or use the ReaderZone App with code 1d321 to track your reading and attendence! Earn 1 credit for every 20 minutes you read, and 2 for attending Adult library programs. Every 10 credits earns you a level-up and you'll be entered into our final prize drawings plus a fun reading sticker!
