The Twin Falls Public Library is thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new permanent StoryWalk at Thomsen Park! This special event is part of the City of Twin Falls Parks & Recreation’s Cabin Fever Day, a community celebration to encourage folks to get out of the house and have fun in the winter season.
Join us on Saturday, January 4th, from 1 PM to 3 PM for an afternoon packed with family-friendly fun, winter activities, and a celebration of literacy in the great outdoors.
The event will include a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony with special guests from the City of Twin Falls, the Twin Falls Public Library Foundation, and the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce. Guests are encouraged to bundle up and explore the StoryWalk, which showcases a fun, winter-themed storybook along a scenic path, combining outdoor activity with the joy of reading. Afterward, families can warm up with hot cocoa, winter games, and music; the Twin Falls Public Library Bookmobile will also be on hand to find even more great stories to borrow and take home.
The StoryWalk posts were generously funded by the Twin Falls Public Library Foundation, with memorial donations in honor of Ann & Dalmiro Alvarez.
We invite everyone to join us , enjoy a wonderful winter story, and make this Cabin Fever Day afternoon memorable!
